Amid bustling bazaars, hidden courtyards, and centuries-old architecture, we’ll experience a side of Delhi that many travelers never see. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the deeply moving Partition Museum to better understand one of the most significant moments in South Asian history: the partition of India and Pakistan in 1947. Through personal stories, photographs, and preserved artifacts, we’ll learn about the largest mass migration in human history and the lasting impact it had on millions of lives. Many of our travelers describe this experience as one of the most meaningful and eye-opening parts of the journey. As we move through the palace’s elegant halls, mirrored walls, hand painted motifs, we’ll learn about the royal family’s lasting cultural influence and the role Jaipur played in shaping Rajasthan’s history. The intricate courtyards, textiles, artwork, and architecture offer a rare glimpse into India’s regal past. We’ll enjoy lunch on the palace grounds before continuing through the old city. For sunset, we’ll pause for cold coffees with a view of the iconic Hawa Mahal, whose honeycomb windows glow beautifully in the golden sunset. It’s quiet, reflective, full of birds and beautiful corners to photograph. It’s one of our traveler’s favorite places to slow down and take in the beauty of Rajasthan. After lunch, we’ll explore an ancient hilltop fort with ornate halls, courtyards, and historic passageways, as well as sweeping views over Jaipur and the surrounding landscape. By evening, we’ll settle in to watch the city glow beneath the colors of sunset, one of the most magical moments of our time in the Pink City.Tonight, we’ll gather for dinner, with the option to continue the evening with cocktails, rooftop views, and conversation for those who’d like to stay out a little longer.

We’ll happily share recommendations for some of our favorite local experiences from Ayurvedic massages and jewelry-making workshops (one of Jaipur’s great artistic traditions) to museums, cafés, textile shopping, and hidden corners of the old city. Jaipur is also known for its long tradition of Vedic astrology, and those interested may wish to sit down with a local astrologer for a reading through the Indian astrological system. In the afternoon, we’ll regroup for a lively Bollywood dance class with a local choreographer. Expect plenty of laughter, energetic music, and copious cups of chai as we learn some iconic dance moves together. 4 Day Extension: The mystical mountains and rivers of Rishikesh
For those who choose to continue on to Rishikesh, the journey begins to soften and deepen in a new way. For centuries, sages, yogis, pilgrims, and seekers have traveled here in search of stillness, devotion, and deeper understanding. Nestled along the sacred Ganges River at the foothills of the Himalayas, Rishikesh is known as one of India’s great spiritual centers, a place where yoga, meditation, music, philosophy, nature, and daily ritual all weave together. We’ll spend our time visiting various ashrams (such as the famous Beatles ashram that started the 1960s hippy movement), sipping chai beside the river, attending evening candle ceremonies on the Ganges, practicing yoga, and watching the river flow at sunset. Many travelers describe feeling more grounded, emotionally open, creative, or inwardly calm during their time here, even without seeking a formal spiritual experience.
Dates: March 28th-31st 2027
Location: Rishikesh, India
Price in USD: $1,595 for sharing with one other person / $2,095 for private room (early bird pricing until July 15th 2026)

DAY 1: OFF TO RISHIKESH, THE HIMALAYAN FOOTHILLS
After saying goodbye to the group, we’ll fly to Rishikesh and settle into our hotel. We’ll wander through the lively riverside streets filled with temples, cafés, wandering sadhus, yoga ashrams, and the sounds of devotional music drifting through the air. As sunset approaches, we’ll gather by the river to witness the evening Ganga Aarti ceremony, moving spiritual ritual of chanting, prayer, fire offerings, and collective devotion performed along the water’s edge. We’ll go to a winding alleyway and have dinner by the river as we soak in the hippy vibes of the city.

DAY 2: THE BEATLES ASHRAM AND WATERFALL HIKE
This morning we’ll visit the fascinating Beatles Ashram, peacefully tucked inside the forest. Once home to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s meditation retreat, the ashram became internationally known after The Beatles stayed here in 1968 to study meditation and songwriting. Today, its quiet meditation halls, nature-covered pathways, and vibrant graffiti murals create a uniquely reflective and artistic space where spirituality, music, and history intersect.
After exploring the ashram, we’ll enjoy lunch together before heading into the surrounding Himalayan foothills for a gentle waterfall hike. Along the way, we’ll pass through lush forest trails, flowing streams, and sweeping mountain scenery before arriving at a secluded waterfall where you’ll have time to relax, dip into the cool water, or simply take in the peaceful surroundings.
After dinner, we’ll return back to the hotel feeling refreshed by nature, movement, and the sacred energy of the water.

Our final full day together begins slowly and intentionally in the peaceful atmosphere of one of the oldest living ashrams in the city. This experience offers a chance to understand why millions of people come to this city for months at a time to devote themselves to yoga practice. The afternoon opens up for free time and personal exploration. You may choose to unwind with a traditional Ayurvedic massage, browse local shops for textiles, books, incense, jewelry, and handmade goods, or simply relax at one of the many riverside cafés and soak in your final hours in this sacred city. Tonight, we’ll gather one last time for a special farewell dinner to celebrate the friendships, experiences, and memories we’ve created together across India.
